Ace Green Recycling is scaling one of the world’s most advanced battery recycling platforms, and we’re looking for a Global Branding, Public Affairs & Community Lead who can communicate what the company is about to various stakeholders and at the same time is hungry to create an impact.

What You Will Do Brand & Communications

• Position Ace as the clean-tech leader vs legacy polluting, legacy recyclers.
• Lead storytelling, digital presence, messaging, and campaigns across all markets.
• Handle crisis communications with speed, clarity, and confidence.
• Drive proactive reputation-building across media, Linked In, partners, and industry forums.

Government & Industrial Relations

• Engage with Texas state + local agencies, federal bodies, and international regulators.
• Navegate permits, environmental interactions, economic development, and public-sector outreach.
• Engage confidently with legislators, regulators, policymakers, and trade groups.
• Present Ace’s technology and mission in a clear, compelling, and evidence-based way.

Community & Stakeholder Engagement

• Build relationships with local communities around our Texas plant.
• Run community outreach, plant visits, education events, and open houses.
• Build trust with neighbors, schools, NGOs, civic leaders, industry partners.

Execution & Leadership in Ambiguity

• Connect global operations with aligned messaging.
• Create processes; solve problems without waiting for instructions.
• Own outcomes end-to-end; deliver results in complex, fluid environments.
• Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership across strategic initiatives.

What We’re Looking For Required

• 7–15 years in brand, communications, public affairs, or government relations
• Experience in a public company or highly regulated sector
• Experience in industrial/clean-tech/energy/manufacturing sectors
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, high-growth, or startup-like environments
• Comfort with ambiguity, chaos, changing priorities, and rapid decision-making
• Bias for action — “done yesterday” mindset

Preferred

• Strong understanding of Texas’s political, regulatory, and community landscape
• Existing networks with Texas government, civic bodies, or media
• Based in Houston/Texas or willing to relocate
• Experience handling misinformation or community concerns
• Background engaging with EPA, TCEQ, DOE, Commerce, or state agencies
