Experienced Collision Estimator, DRP Manager

Job Summary:

Fix Auto Houston, one of Houston's largest independent collision repair facilities, is seeking an experienced Collision Estimator to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for accurately estimating and managing all damages and repairs for collision vehicles, as well as acting as a liaison for insurance companies and serving as a DRP (Direct Repair Program) Manager. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a competitive salary and great team environment.

Responsibilities:
- Accurately estimate damages and repairs for collision vehicles using industry-leading software
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the repair process, including ordering parts and scheduling repairs
- Communicate with insurance companies and serve as a liaison for DRP program requirements
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issues
- Monitor repair process and maintain timeline for completion
- Keep detailed and organized records of repairs, estimates, and insurance communications
- Train and supervise junior estimators or administrative staff as needed
- Collaborate with other departments within the franchise to ensure efficient and effective operations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or I-CAR certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Collision Estimator and DRP Manager
- Extensive knowledge of collision repair processes, techniques, and materials
- Proficiency in industry-leading software and technology used for estimating and managing repairs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately assess and estimate damages and repairs
- Demonstrated skills in leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork
