Job Description

• Devising and using fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies
• Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
• Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
• Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries

Skills Required

• 5 to 20 of industrial project procurement experience
• Experienced in purchasing procedures from implementing strategy, requesting and evaluating bids, evaluating terms and conditions, and recommending successful vendor
• Once bids are awarded, candidate will be the focal point of contact for client and vendors to make certain the equipment and services comply with project requirements and are delivered on time
• Experience with expediting and interfacing/tracking with logistics company

Education/Training/Certifications

• High school degree or GED
