Business Development Manager

Job Summary

Business Development Manager – The role drives growth and revenue for our SaaS products. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in SaaS sales, strong leadership, and the ability to develop and execute strategic plans to expand market presence. The successful candidate will work on high-profile projects, facilitate go‑to‑market strategy, interact daily with customers, and collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team.

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the SaaS industry.
• Build and nurture relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Own, develop and implement the sales strategy in collaboration with marketing.
• Collaborate with Product Manager to develop sales and customer growth strategy.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine offerings and align strategies, integrating initiatives into business strategies.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Negotiate and close high‑value deals.
• Monitor and report on sales performance and market feedback.
• Own, develop and implement the CRM system in collaboration with identified stakeholders.

• Self‑starter required (demonstrated through references).
• CRM experience required.
• 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the SaaS industry.
• In‑depth knowledge of the Gas Turbine business: 5+ years of experience (preferred).
• Understanding of power distribution systems and/or heavy industrial equipment (preferred).
• Knowledge of Automation Systems (preferred).
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for delivering high‑quality software applications.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to the evolving needs of the role and organization.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in task execution.
• Clear and concise communication skills, both orally and in writing.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to work in a dynamic and fast‑paced startup environment in‑office.
• Some travel may be required for sales opportunities and client visits.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Computer Engineering or Control Systems Engineering (preferred).

Salary range: $60,000 – $90,000 + commission‑based incentives.
