AboutThe Role
The Business Immersion Program (BIP) Internship is Crown Castle's primary talent pipeline for the full-time Business Immersion Program and other early career opportunities. Throughout the 10-week summer experience, interns gain foundational knowledge of our business, contribute to meaningful projects, develop professional skills, and build relationships with leaders and teammates across the organization. We are seeking curious, motivated students who are eager to learn, embrace new challenges, and explore how they can make an impact while driving our mission of transforming the way we are all connected.
WhatYou Will Do
The Analytics & Transformation path is designed for students who enjoy solving business problems using data and technology. You will develop both business and technical capabilities while building foundational skills in analytics, process improvement, and emerging AI-enabled tools and technologies.
Interns in this path will strengthen their ability to turn data into actionable insights, communicate recommendations effectively, and contribute to data-driven decision-making. This experience provides valuable exposure to the types of work performed in the full-time Business Immersion Program and other early career roles across the company.
The BIP Internship is not rotational and you will be assigned to one team for the duration of the internship. Possible teams could include and are not limited to Business Intelligence, Data Analytics & AI, Process Improvement, Tower Operations, and more. Team alignment is driven by business need.
Beyond meaningful work on your assigned team, BIP Interns will have the opportunity to engage in structured onboarding and programming designed to build community, facilitate networking with teammates and leaders, and deepen your understanding of our business. You will have the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally with a team of interns on a capstone project, where you will apply your learnings from the summer and sharpen your communication skills.
EducationQualifications WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Currently enrolled as a student in a degree program from an accredited higher education institution.
- Applicants must have completed at least 90 credit hours by the first day of the internship.
- Applicants from all academic disciplines are encouraged to apply. While all fields of study will be considered, preferred field(s) of study include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or another highly quantitative discipline.
- Basic knowledge of analytics, software engineering, automation, machine learning, data analysis and visualization, agentic AI, and/or related fields gained through coursework, projects, extracurricular experiences, or self-study.
