ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMThe Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas Internship Program is a prestigious, cohort-based experience that attracts top talent from across the country for paid, full-time summer internships spanning majors and functional areas – from economic research and finance to Cash Services, IT, and beyond. While interns take on a specific functional role for the summer with meaningful work and opportunities to grow, the program offers much more than a single assignment.
Dedicated staff mentors help launch your career, and curated cohort programming provides broad exposure to central banking, direct access to senior leaders and industry experts, and dedicated learning and development opportunities. As part of the Federal Reserve System, you'll also build a professional network of peers that spans the nation. The program runs approximately for 10-12 weeks, beginning in mid-to-late May and concluding in August.
For this specific position, you will be located in the Dallas or Houston office.
The Bank’s district Cash Department manages a full-service Cash operation in the Dallas, El Paso, and Houston offices, which service depository institutions (DIs) throughout the district and some institutions in Oklahoma and Louisiana, which are a part of neighboring districts.
WHAT YOU’LL DO- Work with Cash officers on District/System Cash Strategies, assisting/leading creating plans of execution.
- Work with all three District Cash offices along with interactions with RES and Fed Cash Services to assist on multiple projects
- Coordinating with the CSO team on Cash project activities including AI Design and implementation to create efficiencies and improve productivity.
- Helping develop/mature key artifacts (such as District Cash charter, SLA’s, etc.) for our Cash Mission, Vision, and Priorities around development and communication.
- Undergraduate student with an interest in Communication and/or Business Development, Program or Project Management.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40 hours/ week). Some additional hours may be required.
