The Associate Director, Business Development & Corporate Strategy is a deal leader at Pharma Essentia, accountable for driving priority business development transactions from asset screening through term sheet to signing while contributing to enterprise and portfolio strategy. Working in close partnership with the Director, Corporate Strategy & Business Development, you will own your deals and work streams end to end: leading counter party discussions, orchestrating internal alignment across Legal, IP, Finance, R&D, Clinical, and other cross-functional teams, and bringing clear recommendations to senior leadership.

The ideal candidate brings hands‑on biopharma BD transaction experience, sound judgment, and the drive to build deal capabilities in a fast‑growing, globally integrated company. This role offers high visibility with senior leadership and a real opportunity to shape how Pharma Essentia does deals.

• Lead priority BD transactions end to end, from initial term sheet through negotiation, definitive agreements, and signing, owning the timelines, decision points, and deliverables for each deal.
• Orchestrate internal alignment across Legal, IP, Finance, R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, and headquarters in Taiwan, securing the input and approvals needed before external commitments are made.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for counter parties, outside counsel, and advisors, ensuring external communications are consistent with internal positions.
• Take full ownership of your deal work streams, strategic and operational alike, so that nothing falls through the cracks.
• Maintain rigorous deal documentation, trackers, and correspondence in shared systems, enabling seamless collaboration and continuity across the team.

• Operate with a high degree of autonomy: resolve day‑to‑day issues independently and bring well‑structured recommendations, not just questions, to the Director.
• Exercise sound judgment on escalation, surfacing material risks, trade‑offs, and resourcing needs early so there are no surprises.
• Partner with the Director, who sets priorities, provides oversight on key decisions, and leads senior stakeholder management, while you drive day‑to‑day execution.

• Independently lead high‑impact enterprise and therapeutic‑area strategy projects, including framing problem statements, structuring analyses, managing work streams, and delivering recommendations to senior leadership.
