We are currently seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager (PV Plant) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing contracts and contractors within the photovoltaic industry, bringing at least 10 years of experience to this pivotal role.

Responsibilities

As the Construction Manager
, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of our PV plant projects from inception to completion. Your key duties will include:

  • Contract Management
    :
    Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts with various stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project objectives and compliance with industry standards.
  • Contractor Oversight
    :
    Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols. Foster strong relationships and facilitate effective communication among all parties involved.
  • Project Planning
    :
    Collaborate with engineering and design teams to establish realistic project timelines and milestones. Implement project management methodologies to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Budget Management
    :
    Monitor project budgets, manage costs, and ensure financial accountability throughout the construction phases.
  • Compliance
    :
    Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations related to construction and environmental sustainability. Maintain knowledge of industry trends related to photovoltaic technology and best practices.
  • Risk Management
    :
    Identify potential risks associated with construction activities and develop mitigation strategies. Lead risk assessment meetings and document outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance
    :
    Implement and oversee quality assurance protocols that meet client and industry standards. Conduct regular inspections to ensure the integrity of the construction process and final outputs.
  • Reporting
    :
    Provide regular updates to senior management regarding project status, milestones achieved, and any issues that may arise. Utilize data-driven insights to recommend improvements in construction practices.
  • Team Leadership
    :
    Lead and mentor a team of construction professionals, cultivating a culture of safety, respect, and excellence. Encourage professional development and continuous learning within the team.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience
    :
    Minimum of 10 years in construction management, specifically within the photovoltaic sector. Proven track record in managing large scale PV plant projects is essential.
  • Education
    :
    Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Certifications
    :
    Relevant industry certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent will be highly advantageous.
  • Technical Skills
    :
    Strong understanding of photovoltaic systems, construction techniques, and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Proficiency in financial management and report generation.
  • Leadership Skills
    :
    Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team. Capacity to make decisions swiftly and efficiently under pressure.
  • Communication Skills
