Construction Superintendent – Vertical Construction Job Description

PMG Project Management, LLC., is actively seeking a highly experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee complex vertical construction projects, including public-sector buildings and private commercial developments. Based in Houston, Texas, this role is ideal for a field leader with a passion for quality, safety, and schedule control. If you’re a boots-on-the-ground builder with a proven track record delivering mid- to large-scale vertical structures on time and within budget — we want to talk to you.

Supervise and coordinate all field operations on vertical construction projects

Enforce quality control and site safety standards in accordance with OSHA and project specifications

Manage subcontractor performance, site logistics, and work sequencing

Maintain daily logs, schedules, and field reports

Interface with project managers, owners, inspectors, and design teams

Ensure successful execution of projects ranging from municipal facilities to private commercial buildings

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or 10+ years of field supervision experience on vertical construction projects

Proven experience managing public and private facilities (e.g., government buildings, healthcare centers, commercial offices)

Deep understanding of construction methods, materials, building codes, and sequencing

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and site coordination skills

Proficient with project management and field tracking tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)

OSHA 30 certification required;
First Aid/CPR preferred
