Assistant Superintendent

Base Pay Range

$75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

As the Construction Assistant Superintendent, you support the Superintendent in overseeing daily on-site operations to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and according to plan. You help coordinate subcontractors, manage site logistics, monitor work progress, and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards. This role involves regular communication with field teams, project managers, and trade partners to resolve issues promptly and maintain schedule milestones.

You also assist in quality control, inspections, and the enforcement of safety protocols to support a smooth and successful construction process.

• Guide subcontractors in implementing and maintaining safe construction practices on-site
• Monitor quality control and ensure any subcontractor-related issues are promptly resolved
• Help manage the overall project schedule, identifying and maintaining critical paths for subcontractors and vendors
• Promote effective coordination and communication among all subcontractors
• Collaborate with the design team and owner to address and resolve unexpected issues or site conditions
• Review project drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure alignment with project requirements
• Contribute to daily progress reporting and assist with weekly schedule updates to track project milestones

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering (preferred).
• 2+ years of construction experience on $10M+ ground up projects.
• Exposure to scheduling.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam, Procore, and related project management tools.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
