Responsibilities- Lead daily site construction work to meet production goals.
- Implement Mas Tec Communications Group Health Safety and Environmental Policies (Safety Manual).
- Apply industry standards (OSHA, TIA
10-48, NATE CTS, ANSI). - Ensure safety requirements at sites and for crew.
- Oversee daily operations and quality of work performed.
- Maintain daily paperwork required for the site and the crew.
- Follow job instructions provided by leadership.
- Compile site‑specific closeout documentation.
- Upload closeout documentation to customer interfaces.
- Coordinate with customer representatives and maintain a good working relationship.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and training to crew members.
- Maintain equipment and vehicles in operational condition.
- Validate daily timesheets for Management.
- Mentor less experienced technicians.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Safety is a part of your day‑to‑day work.
- Track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
- Hands‑on approach to solving hard problems.
- Interest in long‑term projects.
- Enjoy working directly with a team.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
- Expertise in construction skills, rigging, safety, and general industry knowledge.
- Knowledge of safety and regulations.
- WSA certification is a plus.
- Job‑related certifications:
First Aid, Safety, Rescue, Wiltron, Anritsu, Fiber, PIM, CPR, Connector attachment. - Organizational, computer, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW.
- Valid driver’s license and compliant driving record. Ability to maintain FDOT log books; training will be provided.
- Ability to lead, teach, and train proper work and safety procedures.
- Ability to maintain a safe work site with acceptable quality and efficiency.
- Ability to record and manage paperwork (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Fit and in good physical condition.
- Ability to climb towers, lift 50 lbs., and work up to 12 hours.
Compensation: $27,000–$32,000 DOE (dependent on experience)
