Construction Manager/ Foreman
We are working with a publicly listed, integrated real estate developer and builder with extensive, controlled operations across Texas. We manage the entire lifecycle—from land acquisition and design through construction and delivery—ensuring unparalleled quality and efficiency.
The Opportunity: We are seeking a Superintendent to be the primary field leader for our high-end, custom residential projects. You will act as the crucial liaison between the Project Manager and the field, ensuring every detail meets architectural specifications and our firm's luxury standards for craftsmanship. This is a role for an elite leader who commands the job site.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeading Excellence in the Field
- Trade Sequencing & Leadership: Direct and sequence all subcontractor work daily. Conduct necessary huddles to communicate safety, quality expectations, and the detailed 2-Week Look-Ahead Schedule.
- Precision Quality Control: Go beyond basic checks. Conduct rigorous, phase-specific quality inspections (e.g., foundation, waterproofing, finish carpentry) to ensure strict adherence to all plans and luxury material specifications.
- Site Management & Logistics: Maintain a consistently professional, safe, and organized job site that reflects our high standards. Efficiently coordinate all critical material deliveries and storage.
- Issue Resolution & Inspections: Identify and resolve field issues, enforce corrective action, elevate risks as needed, and coordinate all required municipal and third‑party inspections.
- Compliance & Reporting: Utilize Procore for detailed daily logging, progress documentation (photos/videos), and managing the rolling punch list. Coordinate and oversee all municipal and third‑party inspections.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of dedicated experience as a Superintendent or Lead Foreman on custom/luxury single‑family homes (projects valued at $2M and up).
- Technical Mastery: Expert knowledge of custom‑building techniques, complex sequencing, finish carpentry, and the exacting standards required for luxury residences.
- Software: Proven proficiency with construction management software, ideally Procore.
- Accountability: Strong ability to manage, motivate, and hold subcontractors rigorously accountable to schedule and quality requirements.
