Construction Manager

Brunel is recruiting Project Construction Managers to work in Houston, TX for initially 1 year contract.

The Project Construction Manager oversees construction planning and coordination from proposal through project close-out.

This role leads the construction engineering team, works closely with project management and procurement, and supports site management during execution.

• Develop construction strategies, schedules, budgets, and staffing plans.
• Coordinate construction engineering, subcontracting, and site preparation.
• Support subcontractor assessments and bid evaluations, and lead subcontract negotiations.
• Lead constructability reviews and contribute to design reviews.
• Ensure construction documentation meets HSE, quality, regulatory, and client requirements.
• Coordinate the handover to site management and support pre-commissioning planning.
• Review construction costs, progress, staffing hours, and schedule performance.
• Coordinate team meetings and resolve issues with engineering, procurement, and site teams.
• Identify risks, investigate deviations, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support change management, including claims and variation orders.
• Prepare monthly reports and review site HSE and QA/QC reports.
• Coordinate final reporting, lessons learned, and as-built documentation.
