Location:
Houston, TXThis role is based in Houston, TX with a standard 40-45 hour work week and minimal travel requirements.
Overview Role Summary We are looking for a seasoned Senior Estimator specializing in Mechanical, Civil, and Structural projects for our expanding portfolio in the data center and industrial construction sectors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industrial construction methodologies and be capable of providing accurate cost estimates for various types of projects.
Responsibilities Create detailed cost estimates for civil, structural, and mechanical construction scopes
Conduct quantity takeoffs and determine labor, material, and equipment costs
Review project documents to ensure precise estimates
Collaborate with project teams to validate assumptions and strategies
Develop pricing models for different types of proposals
Create construction schedules using project management tools
Analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure alignment with project scope
Identify project risks, exclusions, and cost-saving opportunities
Assist in bid reviews and post-bid meetings
Maintain historical cost data and productivity benchmarks
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. OR 10 years of experience
Minimum of 10 years experience in industrial construction estimating
Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel Ability to interpret construction drawings and plans
Strong analytical and communication skills
Experience with EPC or design-build projects is a plus Travel required for site visits as needed
