HVAC Sheet Metal Superintendent

Take the lead on commercial HVAC sheet metal projects throughout the Houston area. This local, onsite role is built for an experienced Superintendent who knows how to plan manpower, coordinate multiple field teams, and keep work moving safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

Lead HVAC sheet metal field operations across assigned commercial construction projects in the Houston area.

Develop field plans and forecast manpower needs based on project schedules, workload, and operational priorities.

Review construction drawings, specifications, submittals, and related project documentation before and during field execution.

Coordinate multiple field teams while maintaining visibility into progress, productivity, staffing needs, and upcoming work.

Partner with project and operations leadership to address scheduling, materials, manpower, coordination, and execution needs.

Set clear expectations for safety, quality, accountability, workmanship, and productivity.

Coordinate HVAC sheet metal and ductwork installation with other trades, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Identify field issues early, develop solutions, and communicate project status and concerns to leadership.

What You'll Bring

At least 5 years of HVAC sheet metal field experience in commercial construction.

Previous experience working at the Superintendent level. This is required.

Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC sheet metal systems, ductwork installation, and construction sequencing.

Demonstrated experience with manpower forecasting, field planning, and schedule coordination.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, project specifications, and submittals.

Experience overseeing multiple projects or field teams while balancing competing priorities.

Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

7 to 10 or more years of HVAC sheet metal construction experience.

Experience leading larger field organizations, ideally teams of approximately 15 or more employees.
