Key Responsibilities

  • Establish schedule standards for WBS, activity coding, logic, calendars, milestones, and reporting.
  • Review contractor baseline schedules, updates, and revisions for accuracy, quality, and contractual compliance.

  • Validate contractor-reported progress through schedule reviews, coordination with site personnel, and periodic field verification.
  • Monitor critical milestones, identify schedule risks, and recommend mitigation or recovery strategies.
  • Evaluate contractor recovery schedules, Time Impact Analyses (TIAs), and delay claims, providing recommendations to owner leadership.
  • Integrate long-lead equipment procurement, manufacturing, and delivery milestones into the IMS.
  • Coordinate construction, commissioning, startup, energization, and turnover sequencing for critical mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Lead weekly and monthly schedule reviews and prepare executive reports highlighting milestone performance, critical paths, risks, and required actions.
  • Maintain audit-ready schedule documentation, review comments, narratives, and change-control records.
  • Coordinate with contractors, design teams, commissioning agents, and owner representatives to resolve schedule conflicts.
  • Provide technical guidance and quality reviews for supporting schedulers and project controls personnel.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of scheduling and project controls experience on large, complex construction projects.
  • Advanced Primavera P6 proficiency, including Integrated Master Schedule development and analysis.
  • Experience supporting owners, developers, or construction management teams in an owner's-representative capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, schedule quality assessments, and baseline management.
  • Experience reviewing contractor schedules, recovery plans, and schedule changes.
  • Understanding of design, procurement, construction, and commissioning sequencing, including MEP systems.
  • Ability to independently assess schedule performance and communicate findings to project leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DCMA 14-point assessments, schedule risk analysis, and Time Impact Analyses.
  • Experience integrating commissioning, energization, and turnover activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Competitive salary with bonus potential
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) program with company match
  • 20 days of PTO and 11 paid holidays
  • Short-term and long-term disability
  • Professional development and training support.
