Role Overview

We are seeking a Co–Creative Director to help guide the creative vision of our projects alongside existing leadership. This role blends hands‑on creative contribution with collaborative leadership. You will help shape worlds, systems, and experiences while supporting and uplifting a diverse, disabled‑led team.

Responsibilities
  • Co-lead the creative vision for one or more game projects
  • Provide active creative input on narrative, mechanics, tone, and overall player experience
  • Collaborate closely with designers, artists, writers, and programmers
  • Guide and mentor team members in a supportive, accessibility‑first environment
  • Contribute directly to game design and level design
    , from concept through implementation
  • Help translate high-level creative goals into actionable design plans
  • Participate in decision‑making around scope, direction, and iteration
Required Experience
  • Demonstrated leadership experience on creative or development teams
  • Strong background in game design
    , including systems and mechanics
  • Proven experience with level design (digital or tabletop experience welcome)
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Comfortable collaborating in a co‑director or shared leadership role
Preferred (But Not Required)
  • Experience working on indie or small‑team projects
  • Familiarity with accessibility‑forward or inclusive design practices
  • Experience working remotely or on distributed teams
