Crossroads Baptist Church is seeking aWorship Pastorto lead our church family in Christ-centered, Spirit-led worship. Thisfull-time position will shepherd our worship ministry team and guide our congregation in lifting high the name of Jesus each week.

As part of our staff family, you’ll have the opportunity todevelop and disciple worship leaders and volunteers, plan and lead dynamic worship gatherings, and cultivate a culture of worship that goes beyond Sunday mornings. We’re looking for someone who is both musically gifted and pastorally minded — a leader who loves people, values teamwork, and longs to see lives transformed through worship.

• Create a multi-generational & multi-ethnic worship style that is vertically driven
• Intentionally shepherd & disciple those on the CR worship Team
• Provide oversight for the CR Tech Team
• Additionally lead worship for Student Ministry, prayer nights, Team Huddles etc.
• Cultivatea developmental pipeline of singers & musicians
• Oversee all creative aspects of CR worship
• Foster & pioneer a song writing culture
• Assist with additional pastoral duties as assigned by Lead Pastor

Champion the church’s mission& vision.

Lead the congregation in Christ-centered, Spirit-led worship that is biblically faithful and culturally engaging.

Plan and prepare weekly worship gatherings in collaboration with the Lead Pastor and staff team.

Incorporate Scripture, prayer, and creative elements that help the church encounter God.

Recruit, train, and shepherd worship team members (musicians, vocalists, tech volunteers).

Foster a culture of excellence, unity, and spiritual growth within the worship ministry.

Invest in developing future worship leaders and musicians.

Create a culture of collaboration and teamwork.

Pastoral Care & Leadership

Shepherd and care for worship ministry volunteers, their families, and overall CR body

Participate in the overall pastoral leadership of the church (e.g., prayer, counseling, discipleship).

Support other ministries of the church as needed, serving as part of the pastoral team.

Ministry Administration

Oversee scheduling, rehearsals, and coordination of worship services.

Manage worship ministry budget, resources, and equipment.

Ensure all tech/media aspects (sound, projection, livestream, lighting) support worship effectively.

Creative Direction

Help shape the worship culture of Crossroads in alignment with the mission and values of the church.

Stay current with worship trends and tools while remaining rooted in biblical worship.
