Board Operator; Part-Time

Overview

Audacy Houston is seeking a part-time board operator / producer. Join our fast-paced environment at Houston's Sports Radio 610.

Responsibilities

• Operate broadcast board, including digital editing, recording, and maintaining network feeds.
• Ensure compliance with FCC licensing regulations.
• Perform light production tasks as needed.
• Book guests, develop show topics, and create web content for the show.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills for posting audio and written content online and assisting staff.
• Familiarity with the station format and Houston sports scene.
• Advanced audio production skills, including podcast and digital editing, preferred.
• Experience with studio broadcast equipment required.
• Knowledge of cut sheets, show prep, Wide Orbit, and Audacity is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

Must frequently stand, walk, sit, handle objects, reach, and talk. Occasionally lift up to 10 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as focus adjustment. Ability to manipulate knobs, levers, and buttons is required.
