POSITION SUMMARYThe Ticket Booth Attendants main responsibility is to sell and collect money for daily Wave Pool admission. You will be an informed resource to all guest utilizing the facility, answering questions about Wave Pool policies and procedures, pricing and rates. Ticket Booth Attendants are expected to maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times, along with providing a high standard of customer service.
This position is seasonal.
- Reports directly to the head guard
- Operate cash register and manage cash till
- Greets guest and initiates friendly interaction
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively
- Checks residency verification providing correct pricing for admission
- Ability to sell and collect money for wave pool general admission, season passes, cabana rentals and small groups and parties.
- Answers questions and provide accurate Wave Pool pricing information, policies and procedures
- Adheres to all EPRC emergency protocols and provides assistance to lifeguards as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
- Performs janitorial and maintenance duties as directed
- Checks and follows daily prep list
- Maintains cleanliness, organization and rotation of all areas, products and supplies
- Communicates with supervisor regularly
- Stays punctual and prepared for all shifts
- Maintains flexible schedule in order to meet needs of the wave pool demands
- Work independently, effectively manage own time and multi-task in a fast-paced, high production environment
- Diffuse conflicts and report inappropriate behavior or refusal to follow guidelines to Aquatics Specialist
- Performs any and all other related duties or assignments as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- Must possess a valid Texas Driver License.
- Successful candidates must pass pre-employment drug screen, job related physical and background check.

- Thorough knowledge of hazards, safety rules, and regulations applicable to area of responsibility.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and the general public.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
