Are you detail‑oriented, reliable, and committed to patient safety? Houston’s Pediatric Dentist is seeking a full‑time Sterile Technician to support our clinical team in providing exceptional care to children. Help create a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for kids and families!

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean, sterilize, package, and maintain all dental instruments and equipment
  • Monitor sterilization cycles, ensure proper parameters are met, document logs
  • Inspect instruments for wear, damage, or malfunction; manage repair/replacement
  • Maintain inventory of sterilization supplies (e.g., autoclave sterilant, pouches, indicators)
  • Support clinical staff by ensuring all operatories are stocked and ready
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and OSHA / regulatory standards
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of sterilization room and instrument storage
  • Collaborate with the dental assistants, hygienists, and dentists to keep workflow efficient
Requirements:

Skills & Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a sterile tech, sterilization technician, or dental clinical role preferred
  • Knowledge of sterilization practices, instrument processing, and infection control
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work methodically
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow strict protocols and safety procedures
  • Good communication skills and a positive, team‑oriented attitude
  • Comfortable working in a clinical/pediatric dental environment
