Role OverviewIn the role of Health Planner II
, we'll count on you to:
- Provide planning, design and coordination support on projects
- Engage in problem solving, teamwork, critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and visualization to create accurate and detailed drawings
- Prepare drawings and specification documents
- Research, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials
- Understanding of healthcare trends.
- Assist the lead Health Planner in the preparation of presentation drawings, diagrams and narratives.
- Assist the coordination of all disciplines related to the building design and health planning.
- Research, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials
- Perform other duties as needed
- Master's degree in Architecture
- Strong computer skills (AutoCAD, REVIT, Rhino, MS Office, Blue Beam)
- Architectural registration
- A minimum of 5 years of experience within the healthcare architecture field, with 3 years exclusively as a health planner
- Advanced credentials desired (e.g. ACHA, LEED, EDAC, etc.)
- Must be willing to travel
- Preference given to local candidates
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field
- A minimum of 3 years experience in A/E industry
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, prints, drawings and models
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and flexible
- Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in the construction of buildings

Illinois: $99,946 - $142,780;
Massachusetts: $109,032 - $155,760;
New York: $113,575 - $162,250;
