Consultant - Building Diagnostics, Structural Forensics, Structural Design & Building Envelope (Houston & Austin)

A leading multidisciplinary firm is seeking a Forensic Architect / Project Manager to join its growing Diagnostics Group. This is a unique opportunity for a licensed architect with a passion for forensic investigations, building envelope diagnostics, and restoration projects. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, project management experience, and a proactive approach to solving complex architectural challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage forensic architecture projects, including investigations related to moisture intrusion, construction defects, and building envelope failures.
  • Oversee technical production and contractual aspects of multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, insurance professionals, and clients on litigation and premises liability cases.
  • Support business development efforts and contribute to the growth of the Diagnostics Group.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Architecture preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in architectural design and forensic investigations.
  • Licensed Architect (required).
  • Experience with litigation support, building envelope systems, and restoration/rehabilitation projects.
  • Strong communication, project management, and client relationship skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
