Client Relationship & Graphic Design Coordinator

Signgrafx is looking for a creative, organized, and outgoing Client Relationship & Graphic Design Coordinator to join our Houston office.

This is not a traditional graphic design position. We are looking for someone who has graphic design skills but also enjoys working with customers, solving problems, coordinating projects, and building long-term business relationships.

You will serve as a key point of contact for Houston-area customers while helping move commercial signage projects from initial concept through design, production, and installation.

• Build and maintain relationships with existing Houston-area customers
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer projects
• Respond to customer questions, requests, and project updates
• Create and revise signage layouts, proofs, and basic design concepts
• Work with customer logos, branding standards, colors, and artwork
• Prepare artwork and project information for estimating and production
• Coordinate projects with our production and installation teams
• Help schedule surveys, installations, and subcontractors
• Follow up on quotes, proposals, and open opportunities
• Keep customers informed throughout the project
• Assist customers in selecting appropriate signage and graphic solutions
• Review project details to help ensure accuracy before production
• Visit customer locations when needed for meetings, surveys, or project coordination
• Look for opportunities to provide additional products and services to existing customers

The ideal candidate will have:

• Graphic design experience
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop or similar design software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A professional and friendly personality
• Excellent organization and follow-up skills
• The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Confidence communicating with customers by phone, email, and in person
• Attention to detail
• A willingness to learn new products, processes, and software
• A strong customer-service mindset
