Assistant Professor, Clinical Faculty Appointment (CFA) - Thoracic Head & Neck Medical Oncology
The Department of Thoracic/Head & Neck Medical Oncology (THNMO) at MD Anderson Cancer Center invites applicants for a full-time academic appointment at the level of assistant professor in head and neck medical oncology. The successful candidate will interact with research programs focusing on carcinogenesis and prevention, treatment, biomarker development, and other projects in support of personalized medicine. THNMO is funded by NIH SPOREs, the Lung and HPV Cancer Moon Shots, and other programmatic and peer-reviewed grants that facilitate the department's translational research initiatives.
Responsibilities- Clinical care in Thoracic/Head and Neck Medical Oncology and teaching within the Department of Thoracic/Head and Neck Medical Oncology.
- Participate in clinical research trial enrollments for patients.
- Broaden a clinical practice to Houston area locations and develop integrated patient care teams.

Base compensation and benefitsBase pay range: $287,044/yr – $367,301/yr. Eligible for incentive compensation, comprehensive health, wellness, time off, savings, and retirement benefits, as well as relocation support, as applicable.
Qualifications- Clinical expertise in thoracic/head and neck medical oncology.
- Academic appointment at Assistant Professor level with interest in translational/clinical research.
- Ability to participate in multidisciplinary patient care and teaching.
