• Provide full-time Physician Assistant services trained in Gastroenterology, including performing physical exams and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Develop treatment plans and educate patients about their conditions.
• Coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers.
• Assist with the GI Hospitalist team and, in clinic, assist with the outpatient practice.
• Based on workload, assist with patient calls and messages for the GI clinics.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate from an Accredited School of Physician Assistant Studies
• Licensed in the State of Texas
• Board certified or eligible
• AHA ACLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Conversationally fluent in Spanish

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. United Health Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
