Per Diem Physician - Family Medicine (Kelsey‑Seybold Clinic) Job Summary
At Kelsey‑Seybold Clinic, our Family Medicine Per Diem Physicians examine adult patients 18 and older to ensure proper care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery of various medical conditions. They also request medically necessary tests, follow‑up visits, and referrals to specialists.
Job DescriptionPer diem physicians see patients in office from 8 am‑5 pm Monday through Friday. They may work after‑hours and weekends, and can practice virtual medicine. Physicians trained in Epic manage their own in‑baskets, supported by nursing and administrative staff. Work on selected days and shifts, with opportunities to see outpatient and inpatient cases. After‑hours hospital call is not required. Compensation is competitive hourly rate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- See patients in an outpatient setting Monday‑Friday from 8 am‑5 pm, including new patients and corporate physicals.
- Participate in the Family Medicine Call single‑call group; on‑call about once per month (weekday or weekend).
- Conduct annual physicals and wellness exams.
- Provide preventive medicine services.
- Medical Degree (MD, DO)
- Graduate of an approved training program in the United States
- Licensed or willing to be licensed in the State of Texas
- Board Certified and/or Board Eligible
Kelsey‑Seybold Clinic accepts H1B visas.
