Overview
Assistant Professor, Clinical Faculty Appointment (CFA) - Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition
Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr
Responsibilities- Provide clinical expertise including patient care management related to endoscopic and non-endoscopic procedures, outpatient clinic, inpatient service.
- Promote a teaching environment for residents, fellows and other trainees.
- Contribute to daily operation of the Department through innovative research, clinical judgment, educational activities and independent decision making.
- Work location:
Hybrid Onsite/Remote.
- Doctorate-level degree in field appropriate to the faculty role and department mission.
- Licensed by The Texas Medical Board to practice or eligible to practice in Texas.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine; board certification or eligible in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
- Certification in Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- At least 2 years of experience as an Instructor or five years post-degree experience with gastroenterology practice and GI endoscopic procedures, or time in a Fellowship/GME program.
Hybrid Onsite/Remote
Benefits and Policy- Base salary target: $365,967 - $445,591.
