Associate Professor, Clinical Faculty Appointment; CFA), Pediatrics

This faculty position in the Division of Pediatrics involves:

• Having specific clinical expertise in cellular therapies and stem cell transplantation or neuro-oncology. Other fields may be considered if there is strong potential for program development.
• Providing clinical care and managing children, adolescents, and young adults with conditions treatable by hematopoietic stem cell transplantation or adoptive cellular therapy.
• Maintaining a supportive environment for research, teaching, and clinical practice for trainees and team members.

This faculty member will have a joint appointment in the Department of Stem Cell Transplantation.

The position offers a target base salary of $223,241 to $268,672, with eligibility for incentive compensation, comprehensive health and wellness benefits, paid time off, savings and retirement plans, and relocation support as applicable.

• Medical degree and residency as per Texas Medical Board standards.
• Completion of residency in an approved American program or equivalent; board certified or eligible in the American Board of Pediatrics.
• Board certification in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology or Medical Oncology, or foreign equivalent, or obtain certification within four years of employment.

• At least 2 years as an Instructor or 5 years post-degree experience as a clinician, scientist, or GME trainee.
