One-Year Advanced Training Program
Program OverviewThis one-year fellowship offers concentrated training in orthognathic surgery with broad exposure to the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Based in the Texas Medical Center, fellows train in a high-volume practice with three full-time faculty and care for both adult and pediatric patients.
Key Training Areas- Orthognathic surgery with 3D virtual planning
- TMJ, aesthetic, pathology & reconstruction
- Pediatric oral/maxillofacial surgery
- Facial trauma, dentoalveolar & implants
Fellows participate in surgery, multidisciplinary care, research, teaching, and national presentations, with access to the Houston Methodist Research Institute.
Eligibility- OMFS residency completion
- Board-eligible/certified
- Texas dental license
