Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a full-time Cardiac Electrophysiologist faculty member at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank to join an existing group of four cardiac electrophysiology faculty members.

Responsibilities include direct procedural, inpatient, and outpatient clinical care; teaching medical students, residents, and fellows; university/public service; and attending scheduled meetings and CME activities. The candidate should provide expert clinical care in electrophysiology, with training in lead extraction, advanced ablations, left atrial appendage occlusion, and device implantations. Collaboration with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and nurse practitioners in a top-tier Cardiovascular Program is essential.

The department offers two 3-year cardiology fellowships and a 1-year interventional cardiology fellowship.

• MD or equivalent degree (MD/PhD, DO)
• Board-certified in cardiovascular disease and eligible/board-certified in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Excellent clinical and procedural skills, interest in medical education and clinical research
• Eligibility for a Texas medical license
• Faculty appointment based on background and accomplishments

Estimated salary: $400,000
