Job Description PURPOSE AND SCOPEThe Specialist III, Library assists students, faculty and the general public in obtaining resources. Circulates library materials and maintains patron records using automated systems and iStar (People Soft). May perform standard and some advanced administrative duties, including but not limited to receiving and logging information, making copies, sorting and distributing mail, preparing basic correspondence, answering routine questions and inquiries, providing information and directions, and providing a customer friendly environment.
Interprets and enforces established library policies and procedures. Responsible for specialized service/area within library.
