Provide expertise and knowledge to support the college curriculum and programs. Establish courses according to higher education standards, teach using effective methodologies, and engage students to encourage learning. Responsibilities include teaching, academic advising, professional development, and community service.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInclude teaching, advising, professional development, and community service. Additional duties may be assigned.
Qualifications EducationAssociate’s degree or higher; must be a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
ExperiencePreferred:
One year of college-level teaching;
Required:
3-10 years as an OTR or COTA in relevant fields.
Ability to work in diverse environments, teach day or evening classes at various sites, and proficient in computer software.
