Job Responsibilities- Use a course syllabus for each course, following established departmental and institutional guidelines.
- Provide timely, quality access to students via personal consultation, electronic communication and other appropriate methods.
- Evaluate students by established means to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and to inform them in a timely manner of their progress.
- Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
- Submit grades and required forms in a timely fashion.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- MA, MFA, or PhD in English Literature, Creative Writing, or Composition and Rhetoric.
- Ability to teach courses in English Literature and Composition from a Christian worldview and demonstrate enthusiasm for our classical liberal arts core curriculum which includes embracing the need for these courses to complement each other.
