Provide the expertise and knowledge that support the college curriculum and programs. Establish courses following accepted higher education standards, teach students using a variety of effective methodologies and provide engagement and support activities that encourage student learning. The role of the Instructional Faculty encompasses teaching, learning, academic advising, professional development and institutional and community service.

• Teach courses at a full load each semester, using a variety of teaching methods and materials that meet course objectives.
• Evaluate students, keep accurate records and submit related reports within requested timelines.
• Use technology in the classroom and explore innovative instructional methodologies.
• Provide academic advising, maintain professional relationships with students and offer office hours and electronic communication.
• Participate in professional development, keep pace with developments in the discipline and learn and apply innovative technologies that support student learning.
• Engage in institutional and community service, including scheduled service activities, committee participation and maintaining accreditation standards.

• Associate’s degree required;
  Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Three years’ work experience in Logistics/Supply Chain Management and experience in quality improvement, lean or six sigma.
• Teaching experience, preferably in a correctional setting.
• Knowledge of computer usage and software, excellent interpersonal skills, organizational and planning skills, and sensitivity to diverse student backgrounds.
