Description
The Department of Psychological, Health, and Learning Sciences (PHLS) in the College of Education at the University of Houston offers three undergraduate tracks for the Bachelor of Science in Health:
1) Allied Health;
2) Health Promotion; and
3) Public Health. PHLS has occasional openings for temporary, part-time lecturers. Appointments are made on a semester basis and may be renewed as needed. We welcome applicants with experience in health-related teaching, research, and/or service positions.
Applicants should submit a CV and a cover letter describing their qualifications, interest in the position, teaching experience, and teaching philosophy. Only complete applications will be considered.
Qualifications
- Masters or other advanced degree in health-related fields.
- Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon final candidate selection.
- This position is security sensitive and requires a criminal history check.
