The University of Houston's College of Pharmacy invites qualified applicants to apply for a full‑time, non‑tenure track, Clinical Assistant Professor position in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Translational Research. We are seeking outstanding individuals with an established or emerging track interest in teaching, research, and service (clinical and academic) in the field of ambulatory care pharmacy. The successful candidate will be involved in didactic teaching and experiential rotations for Pharm

D students and graduate programs. Scholarly activities based on the applicant's expertise are an expectation.

• Doactic and experiential teaching in the professional pharmacy program

• Progress toward obtaining national/international stature as an ambulatory care specialist

• Develop a scholarship focus in ambulatory care pharmacy

• Mentor and utilize resources provided by the department and college

• Engage with the practice site at one of two Federally Qualified Healthcare Centers in collaboration with the University of Houston College of Medicine

• Pharm

D degree with either residency/fellowship training or equivalent experience

• Eligibility for Texas licensure

• Strong background or emerging expertise in ambulatory care pharmacy and related research

• Commitment to teaching, service, and scholarship with national recognition potential
