Instructor Psychology – Adjunct Pool

Inside Higher Ed is seeking an Adjunct Instructor in Psychology to advance the institution’s tradition of academic excellence, student life, and community service in Houston, Texas.

• Design, develop, and deliver instruction for psychology courses using a variety of effective methodologies.
• Maintain accurate student records and submit required reports in a timely manner.
• Provide academic advising, office hours, and supplemental support to students.
• Engage in professional development and keep current with developments in the discipline and technology.
• Participate in departmental and institutional service activities, including committee work and student events.

• Master’s degree in Psychology (or related field) with at least 18 graduate hours.
• One year of college‑level teaching experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work with diverse student populations, and proficiency with Blackboard or similar LMS.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students in a learning‑centered environment.
