• Launch Alpha's flagship Houston location:
  Execute Alpha's three core promises for 100+ students from day one, ensuring operational excellence at every level.
• Facilitate live workshops for K through 12 students on life skills:
  Conduct compelling one‑hour sessions covering public speaking, growth mindset, and giving and receiving feedback. Apply Alpha's structured playbook to help students master competencies traditional schools overlook—while keeping it engaging.
• Drive every student to 100 percent goal achievement:
  Develop customized motivational frameworks for individual students. Apply data‑driven strategies to address resistance and sustain engagement with the Alpha platform. Success is defined by every student reaching their goals.
• Develop Guides through performance coaching:
  Leverage quantitative and qualitative metrics to pinpoint gaps in performance. Provide precise, actionable coaching and monitor improvement over time. Maintain accountability through objective standards and logic, not empathy that weakens expectations.
• Execute data‑informed campus leadership:
  Assess performance across staff operations, parent engagement, and school culture. Identify issues, conduct root‑cause analysis, consult relevant stakeholders, and implement trackable improvements. Monitor outcomes and refine strategies accordingly.
• Uphold uncompromising standards of excellence:
  Establish and sustain Alpha's quality expectations for both students and staff. Make difficult decisions when performance does not meet standards. Model excellence as the benchmark on campus.

Your objective: guarantee every student loves school, learns at twice the speed of conventional classrooms, and develops essential life competencies.

This position diverges from traditional Principal responsibilities. You'll maintain rigorous standards, leverage data in every decision, and establish Houston’s top‑performing school from launch.

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field. Master’s preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, business, or related field.
• Direct experience building and managing teams of at least 15 people with full hiring and firing authority.
• Deep knowledge of the Houston or wider Texas education landscape.
• Experience working with youth ages 5 through 14.
• Strong data analysis skills and experience using metrics to drive decision‑making and continuous improvement.
• Passion for transforming education. Belief that the traditional system is fundamentally broken.
• Startup mindset: thrives under pressure, adaptable in new situations, comfortable building systems from scratch.
• Compelling and energetic speaker who commands attention from rooms full of students or staff.
• Able to relate to K through 12 students, understand their interests and culture, serve as a positive role model.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
