Center Manager – Code Ninjas Seattle
Take on a small, passionate team and help build a fun and engaging education center at Code Ninjas Seattle! This role is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience running a small business, with plenty of growth potential and on‑the‑job training. As Center Manager, you’ll oversee day‑to‑day operations, support curriculum delivery, and help grow the dojo through community outreach and events.
The position starts at 20 hours per week, with afternoon and Saturday morning hours required, and offers flexible scheduling plus opportunities for additional hours and revenue sharing.
Code Ninjas is the nation’s fastest‑growing kids’ coding franchise. At our center, kids ages 7–14 learn to code in a fun and engaging way—designing and building video games while collaborating with peers. Kids have a blast and can’t wait to come back, while parents love seeing their children gain confidence and valuable skills in coding, math, logic, and problem‑solving as they progress from white to black belt.
WhatWe’re Looking For
We’re seeking a Center Manager to help run day‑to‑day operations, welcome families, and support our instructors. The right candidate will be organized, friendly, and eager to learn—comfortable working with kids and parents, and motivated to help our center grow. A background in tech or coding is a plus, but not required. Hours are 3‑7:30 pm Tues‑Friday, Sat 10 am – 2 pm; we offer flexibility in the work schedule.
Responsibilities- Create a positive, safe environment for student growth.
- Work with children and instructors to assess skills, develop individualized plans, and provide feedback to parents.
- Complete opening and closing duties.
- Keep the center clean and organized.
- Connect with local schools and organizations to explore partnerships and marketing opportunities.
- Manage social media channels and communications.
- Follow up with new leads and run game‑building tours.
- Experience working with children ages 7+ (mentoring, coaching, tutoring, etc.)
- Strong customer service skills for engaging with the general public
- Background in teaching, mentoring, tutoring, or childcare
- Ability to reach out to and collaborate with local vendors
- Knowledgeable about coding and technology or quick to learn basic concepts
- Experience with marketing or a desire to learn on the job
- Enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment with evolving requirements
- Excellent communication and typing skills
