Description:
The Department of Management of the Marilyn Davies College of Business at the University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) seeks applicants to teach as adjunct faculty.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record or potential for instructional excellence and maintain his or her professional credentials. Specifically, we are seeking individuals with research and/or professional qualifications to teach any of the following:
* Principles of Management
* Operations Management
* Problem Solving and Decision Making
* Human Resource Management
* Compensation and Benefits
* Staffing
* Training and Development
* Leadership
* Organizational Behavior
* Business Strategy
Qualifications
* Master's degree in teaching discipline or closely related field
Preferred Qualifications
* Ph.D. in teaching discipline or closely related field
* Academic publications in peer-reviewed journals within the last 5 years
* Significant industry or consulting experience within the last 5 years
* Teaching or corporate training experience
* Minimum five years of progressive industry experience aligned or closely related to the teaching discipline
