Mentor and advise students about higher education at participating institutions or local high schools. Provide information to high‑school students at events such as College Nights and FAFSA Saturdays, one‑on‑one interactions, and high volume customer communications. Assist diverse groups.

• Filing, copying, faxing
• Provide general information related to the department
• Record maintenance, preparation, and review of forms, data entry
• Provide handouts and/or forms to customers

The work is sedentary with occasional walking, standing, bending, carrying light items, or driving an automobile. No special demands.

• Equipment: PC workstation, LAN, Windows, calculator, phone, general office equipment
• Interface with internal and external contacts as needed
• Work in climate‑controlled office with minimal hazards

• High school diploma or GED
• Currently enrolled Lone Star student pursuing any course of study

Hourly Pay Rate: $16.22
