We hire on three P's, and it has served us well for over three decades.
Personality. Content is our job; delivery is yours. Can you take strong material and make it engaging, moving, even funny? Can you read a room and win it?
Professionalism. Are you the educator colleagues already come to for advice? The one administrators trust with the visible assignments? Our presenters represent us in front of entire faculties, and we send only people we are proud of.
Passion. Presenters who are chasing only a paycheck wash out fast. The ones who last are driven by watching other teachers get better. If that describes you, keep reading.
The Center for Teacher Effectiveness has trained 400,000+ educators nationwide since 1993. Presenters deliver our established PD programs to K-12 schools and districts on a part‑time, independent contractor basis, using materials we provide and refine continuously. Current educators are welcome to stay in their positions while presenting for us.
Compensation runs on commission. Training days pay a minimum of $1,000 apiece and often more, with total earnings determined by how much you present.
Requirements: education‑related bachelor's degree or higher, K‑12 or adult education experience, and presentation chops you can demonstrate.
