Job Description & How to Apply Below

Own our relationship with every school and district that uses Intertwined, from the day they sign up through every renewal after, and grow the best of them into district-wide contracts.

About Intertwined

We started as a 14-school pilot in 2024. Today over 100,000 students and teachers use Intertwined across 600+ school districts in 45 states. Schools, districts, banks, and credit unions pay for it, and there's a free tier that stays free.

The Role

You'll own our relationship with every school and district that uses Intertwined, from the day they sign up through every renewal after. Most of your week goes to making those schools successful: training teachers, building the materials they teach with, keeping students using the platform, and making sure the contract renews.

The rest is sales, and it grows out of the first part. Our best leads are the districts already using us. A school on the free tier is ready to upgrade. One building's success becomes a district-wide deal. A curriculum director tells the district next door. You'll find those moments and close them, and you'll run new district deals that come in through referrals and conferences.

You'll also be the person who knows our teachers best. What you hear from them goes straight to Kerry and the product team, and it changes what we build.

What You'll Do

70%

30%

Keep schools successful About 70%
  • Run onboarding for new schools and districts: rostering through Clever or Schoology, teacher training, and a real check-in once the first month is done
  • Design and lead professional development for teachers: kickoff trainings, district PD days, webinars, and summer workshops, in person and on Zoom
  • Work with districts so our sessions count toward teachers' PD hours where possible
  • Create the resources teachers actually use: pacing guides, standards alignment docs, lesson plans, quick-start videos, and help center articles
  • Build a teacher community with office hours, a newsletter, and teacher ambassadors who share what's working in their classrooms
  • Own renewals across our paid accounts. Know which ones are at risk well before the renewal date, and do something about it
  • Watch usage and reach out when a teacher stalls or a school goes quiet
  • Bring teacher feedback back to the product team with specifics, not just "they want more features"
  • Build the playbook as you go: onboarding steps, account health scoring, a PD catalog. A lot of this doesn't exist yet
Grow accounts and close new ones About 30%
  • Move free-tier schools to paid plans
  • Work new district deals from referrals, conferences, and state networks, from first demo to signed PO
  • Help schools find the money: budget timing, board approvals, purchase orders, state financial literacy funding, and local bank sponsor ships
  • Keep the CRM accurate so we can actually forecast Your First 90 Days
    • Day 30

You know the product well enough to demo it cold. You've talked to the teachers and administrators at our biggest accounts, and you have a list of every contract renewing for the 2027-28 school year.

      • Day 60

Every new school goes through an onboarding process you designed, every paid account has a health score, and there's a PD and resource plan for the spring semester.

        • Day 90

You own the renewal forecast and you have your first expansion deals in the pipeline.

        • After a year, success looks like schools renewing because their teachers would push back if we went away, and existing accounts growing faster than the ones we lose.

          Who You Are
          • You've spent 3+ years in customer success, account management, or sales at an edtech company, or you taught and then moved into edtech
          • You know how a school district buys things, and you're patient with it
          • You're as comfortable in front of 40 teachers at a PD day as you are on a call with a superintendent
          • You can manage a book of 100+ accounts without things slipping
          • You've built training or teaching materials that people actually used, and you write clearly
          • You like building things from scratch more than inheriting a finished process
          • Taught business, CTE, economics, or personal finance
          • Know the state financial literacy graduation requirements and how districts are responding to them
          • Have worked at an early-stage startup before
          Compensation

          $100,000

          Per year

          Commission

          10%

Of new and expansion revenue you close, uncapped

          Equity

          For the right candidate
