- Use Maps and reports to identify construction build schedule and research community groups to initiate notification process for construction plans
- Coordinate community meetings and presentations to support fiber optic construction projects across the United States
- Ensure project‑specific community engagement strategies align with municipality guidelines, established best practices, and company goals.
- Use database to update project timelines and notes for interdepartmental groups.
- Develop budgets, provide cost accountability, and work with project teams to ensure accurate forecasts and accurate cost coverage to achieve the strategic plan.
- Proactively build relationships with essential community leaders, and community organizations, mainly HOAs and Water Utilities.
- Support the Engineering and Construction process by cross‑collaborating during engineering and construction phases.
- Coordinate meetings between key community organizations, Ezee Fiber Construction Managers, and Contractors.
- Ensure timely communication with community leaders regarding permitting, construction, and maintenance timelines and expectations of upcoming construction projects.
- Lead community engagement onsite activities within specific projects to grow brand awareness, key community relationships and foster support for new fiber expansion projects.
- Identify opposition and related risks to project success and help implement mitigation strategies.
Education and Experience requirements:
Bachelor's degree in communications, Government Relations, or Construction Management, or 5 years’ experience in community/customer care, government relations, or utility construction.
- Strong knowledge of utility construction process.
- Experience with Maps and ArcGIS required.
- Ability to lead a regional team.
- Experience preparing and delivering in‑person presentations.
- Ability to produce and deliver in‑depth reports and presentations to internal and external partners.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with confidential information with integrity.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to present and share information with internal and external audiences.
- Good collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively in sensitive, political environments.
- Good organizational skills to analyze, coordinate, and implement initiatives.
- Diplomacy and the ability to get along well with all levels of management and community leaders.
- Valid Driver’s License.

The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to travel up to 30% to project sites, corporate office, vendor meetings, and other business locations as required.
