Job Purpose

Support our client with inspection, maintenance and blade diligence services for wind turbine assets across North America (USA / Canada), ensuring that turbine inspections, electrical/mechanical maintenance, and blade repair or assessment tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and in line with OEM standards (Vestas, GE, Nordex).

What You Will Do

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines:

  • Carry out scheduled and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems (nacelle, tower and auxiliary systems).
  • Perform adjustments, component replacements and troubleshooting activities according to OEM specifications.

Conduct blade inspections:

  • Perform internal and external blade inspections to identify structural, surface and composite-related damage.
  • Document findings using inspection software and reporting tools provided by SEYSES and the client.

Support blade diligence and quality processes:

  • Contribute to blade diligence assessments, fleet inspection campaigns and quality verification activities.
  • Support standardized inspection and damage-classification processes and provide technical recommendations.

Execute electrical troubleshooting and component replacement:

  • Perform electrical troubleshooting, continuity and insulation tests, and verification of protections.
  • Replace electrical and electronic components following OEM manuals and procedures (Vestas, GE, Nordex).

Ensure HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) compliance:

  • Strictly follow safety procedures, OSHA standards and Canadian equivalents.
  • Ensure correct use of PPE, climbing/rope access equipment and adherence to working-at-height protocols.
  • Participate in safety inductions, toolbox talks and daily coordination meetings.

Maintain tools and ensure reporting quality:

  • Maintain and calibrate inspection tools, PPE and climbing/rope access equipment.
  • Report progress, defects and technical recommendations to project supervisors.
  • Complete digital reports and project documentation according to SEYSES and client standards.

Participate across project phases:

  • Support quality inspections during construction, commissioning and operational phases of wind farms.

Job Qualifications
Education
  • Technical degree or certification in Electrical, Mechanical or Renewable Energy Engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification.
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in wind turbine maintenance, inspection or blade repair.
  • Proven hands‑on experience in wind turbine O&M (mechanical and electrical systems).
  • Previous experience in blade inspection and/or blade repair is highly desirable.
Technical Knowledge
  • Proven experience working with Vestas, Nordex or GE wind turbines.
  • Experience in blade manufacturing or composite materials (composites) is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with inspection documentation, damage classification and digital reporting tools.
  • Strong understanding of safety practices in wind farms and OSHA / Canadian equivalent standards.
Other Requirements
  • Ability to travel and work in outdoor/on-site environments across different wind farm locations.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) for reporting and client communication.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada (mandatory).
