Primary Services is actively recruiting for an experienced I&E Technician to support a leading terminal operator in maintaining and optimizing critical plant operations. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-performing environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards while supporting a facility that plays a key role in the energy infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Maintain the terminal safely and efficiently while complying with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Repair and maintain pumps, valves, and other mechanical equipment supporting plant operations.
- Execute preventative maintenance tasks and maintain equipment files to support long-term asset reliability.
- Perform calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation controls, including PID functions.
- Work with high-voltage electrical systems up to 12.5kV, including PLC wiring, function, and logic.
- Operate and maintain SCADA/Wonderware and vapor recovery systems.
- Review and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs for troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Participate in safety, health, and environmental programs, reinforcing compliance and accountability.
- Manage workload schedules to optimize efficiency and maintain productivity.
- High School Diploma or GED required;
Associate degree or technical certification preferred. - Minimum 7 years of maintenance experience in oil and gas facilities; refining or terminal experience preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems, instrumentation, and midstream operations.
- Experience with SCADA, Wonderware, and tank gauging systems (Rosemount Tank master preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and ability to obtain a TWIC card required.
- Ability to pass safety training, background check, and drug screening.
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs up to 100 feet and work in confined spaces and elevated areas.
- Capability to lift 75 pounds and transport up to 50 pounds.
- Must be medically approved to wear a respirator and work around chemicals, acids, petroleum products, and vapors.
- Willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather and comply with random drug and alcohol testing requirements.
