Record Keeper

We are seeking Record Keepers for our Transportation-Construction Management (T-CM) team in the Houston, TX area.

The Record Keeper will work closely with the Project Manager, Chief Inspector, and Engineering staff. They will be responsible for tracking, validating, and managing all documentation for the assigned construction project(s). The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in setting up filing structures for projects to meet client requirements
• Obtain all pre-construction documents from the project team and contractor
• Coordinate with team members, contractors, and clients to complete federal documentation, including pay certifications, CUFs, labor reviews, checklists, payroll, and DBE certifications
• Facilitate subcontractor approvals
• Track RFIs, Submittals, Change Orders, and correspondence
• Review change order documentation for compliance and validity
• Check project documents for accuracy and standards compliance
• Maintain project file integrity and ensure collection of all necessary documents
• Prepare preliminary meeting minutes for review
• Manage project field reports and close-out packages
• Compile and review monthly pay estimates

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 7+ years of relevant road and bridge CEI project experience
• Valid Driver's License with a good record
• Proficiency in office software and multitasking
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Effective team player with strong communication skills
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 25 pounds
