We are seeking an experienced
Plant Manager
to lead operations at a large-scale
combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power generation facility
. This role is ideal for a proven power generation leader with a strong background in plant operations, maintenance strategy, safety leadership, and developing high-performing teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance of the facility, ensuring safe, reliable, efficient, and commercially successful plant operations while working closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, and corporate stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide overall leadership and direction for plant operations, maintenance, and reliability initiatives.
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all regulatory and operational requirements.
- Lead and develop plant personnel, fostering accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
- Oversee maintenance strategies, outage planning, and long-term reliability initiatives.
- Partner with OEMs, contractors, and vendors to support plant performance and improvement projects.
- Monitor plant KPIs including availability, efficiency, reliability, safety, and budget performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across operations and maintenance functions.
- Provide leadership during major outages, inspections, and improvement projects.
- Proven leadership experience as a
Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or Generation Manager
within a CCGT / gas turbine environment. - Strong understanding of combined cycle plant operations, including gas turbines, HRSGs, steam turbines, and balance of plant systems.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams across operations and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of safety programs, reliability improvement, and outage execution.
- Ability to build relationships with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.
