Structural Designer​/E3D

Overview

We are seeking a Structural Designer to support structural design activities from concept through construction. This role involves close collaboration with engineering leads and other discipline teams to deliver high-quality structural design packages using tools such as AVEVA (E3D) and AutoCAD.

Job Description

• Develop structural design drawing packages using AVEVA (E3D), AutoCAD, and other tools.
• Collaborate closely with the Lead Structural Engineer and other team disciplines.
• Ensure designs comply with industry codes, regulations, and internal design standards.
• Assist in maintaining and updating structural design standards and documentation.
• Prioritize and execute work within defined scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Prepare AutoCAD drawings based on input and files provided by the engineering team.
• Generate plans and detail drawings from sketches and redline markups.
• Support the enhancement of CAD and AVEVA (E3D) standards.
• Coordinate and maintain project models using MS Office, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and AVEVA (E3D).

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant structural drafting and design experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, AVEVA (E3D), and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $60.00/hr
